Sam Frost, who is expecting, said that it was “a no-brainer” for her to vaccinate her unborn kid.
After posting a video expressing her own reluctance to get vaccinated against COVID in 2021, the former Home and Away star received harsh criticism.
The actress, who will soon give birth to her first child with fiancé Jordie Hansen, claimed that the vaccine’s “fresh new” status was the primary reason she was wary.
She told Stellar magazine, “I’ve received my whooping cough vaccine and of course I’m going to vaccinate my child.
“To me, it’s a no-brainer. Because the COVID vaccine was so new, I had some reservations.

Frost removed the video about her personal choice after receiving a lot of criticism.
She claimed there was a lot of “judgement” surrounding the decision to receive vaccinations.
During that time, she stated, “There’s a lot of harsh judgement and opinions being tossed around a lot and it’s taking its toll on my mental health, for sure, and I know people around me are struggling – particularly if they’re on the side that they don’t want to get vaccinated, for whatever reason.
There are many other reasons why people choose not to get vaccinated, including their medical history, their worries, their family history, and their religious beliefs.
Frost subsequently admitted that she had not received the vaccination, explaining that there were “a few reasons” for this.
She continued, “I’ve discussed it with my doctor and my psychologist, and I’m going to keep that secret.
Frost sobbed uncontrollably as she described how tough it was for her to deal with people’s criticism.
The actress left her position on Home and Away two months later.
Since then, she has received a COVID vaccination.
“Leaving my work was scary, but looking back at where I was and where I am now, there has been a complete metamorphosis. The celebrity told Stellar, “I feel the happiest and most like myself I’ve ever been.
Frost met Hansen, a 26-year-old friend of her younger brother, after leaving the programme. In July 2022, the couple celebrated their engagement.
The pair started a podcast and relocated to Noosa in Queensland after revealing their pregnancy news in September.
