In the UK’s season finale programme the following week, Home and Away schemer Heather Fraser will finally reveal her actual intentions.
In an effort to sever Marilyn Chambers from her closest friends, Heather has spent the past two weeks scheming against her.
Roo Stewart, Marilyn’s best friend, has taken a particular liking to Heather and has frequently stood by the Summer Bay newcomer despite suspicions from others.
In the Channel 5 shows airing the following week, Heather abandons the good deed as she executes a complex plan of retaliation, removing any last doubt about her abilities.
Marilyn is persuaded to visit a posh estate in the middle of nowhere by Heather, who claims that it was once her boarding school.
Heather has unpleasant recollections of the area because she believes her father and stepmother mistreated her after Marilyn left her.
Then Heather persuades Marilyn to invite Roo, Alf Stewart, Irene Roberts, and Leah Patterson to the mansion for a magnificent luncheon.
She says that given recent tensions, it’s the ideal chance for them both to heal fences with the quartet.
Shortly after Heather distributes the digital invitations, Marilyn starts to have doubts. In response, Heather assaults her mother, who is then rendered unconscious.
The following day, Leah, Roo, Alf, and Irene all nervously show up for the enigmatic lunch invitation.
Despite being forcefully restrained in an upper room, Marilyn has recovered consciousness. It’s obvious that the others are stepping into a trap, and Heather makes Marilyn observe everything through a covert CCTV camera.
Unaware that Heather had drugged their drinks, Roo, Alf, Irene, and Leah all settle down. They all briefly pass out, which gives Heather the chance to tie them up.
Later, a distraught Roo brings up her father’s medical problems while Alf battles to breathe. She is appalled when Heather declines to free Alf or provide any assistance.
Heather then carries on with her antics by escorting Marilyn downstairs and telling her to inform her acquaintances about their covert relationship.
Will everyone survive with Heather’s behaviour growing more unpredictable?
