In forthcoming episodes of EastEnders, Mick and Linda Carter will experience a moment of hope as they rediscover their spark.
Mick visits his niece Zsa Zsa in France before returning to Albert Square in scenes that will show the following week.
Janine Butcher, Mick’s partner, tries to thwart Linda’s plans for a karaoke night at the bar as soon as Mick gets home, but when Mick returns to The Vic, she quickly realizes that he’s up for the entertainment.
The night goes on as planned thanks to Janine’s ability to revive the entertainment, but she is furious when Linda and Mick share the stage and perform a song.

The future of Mick and Linda is currently highly uncertain, especially now that Kellie Bright has stated she won’t be quitting the serial opera as Danny Dyer did.
In June, Kellie said, “I’m happy to stay right now, even though I’m certainly sad to see Danny leaving.
Regarding what Danny’s departure would imply for their characters, Kellie continued: “Heart in hand I haven’t inquired since I don’t feel ready to go there just yet, but I have no idea what the show has in store for Linda once Mick leaves.”
She went on: “We’re so busy, and I want to enjoy the few days I have here with Danny. I’m not ready to think that far ahead just yet.”
