Fans are curious about the actor’s real-life spouse because they know him best as Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale.
The news that Danny Miller will be reprising his role for the ITV soap opera’s 50th anniversary has generated a lot of interest in the actor, who may have left his role as the beloved Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale last year. Between 2008 and 2021, Miller was a mainstay on Emmerdale. His character experienced quite a rollercoaster on the soap, including his romance with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and his traumatic storyline involving historic sexual abuse. Actor Danny’s life is very different from that of Aaron, who may have had a difficult love life in the village.
Who is Danny Miller’s wife?
At the recent nuptials, which took place at the Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Tarporley, Cheshire, Danny, 31, wed girlfriend Steph Jones.
This year, the couple said their vows in front of a celebrity-studded crowd as their nine-month-old son Albert watched.
Steph, 30, is a midwife and was Danny’s childhood sweetheart; in an earlier interview, she said the soap star was someone she’d always wanted to wed.
After first meeting in elementary school, the couple drifted apart after secondary school but continued to date occasionally into their teen years.
Danny previously explained to Loose Women on ITV how the couple met when they were young.
“I was already in primary school, and Steph started there after I had been there for about a year,” he recalled.
“I just kind of got along with her right away and fancied her right away,” the student recalled. “You know, any new kid coming into school when you’re that age is really kind of exciting.”
Three years ago, Danny reconnected with Steph via Instagram, and the two started dating once more.
Both Danny and Steph have shared information about their relationship on social media, including pictures from their wedding and updates on their family life.
Steph posted an image from their big day with the couple and their son Albert to her 67,000 followers with the simple caption: “The Millers.”
“Best day ever,” she captioned a video montage of the ceremony and her entry down the aisle.
Danny most recently shared a precious photo of him holding baby Albert to his 714,000 Instagram followers with the caption, “Cherish every moment.”
Danny had talked about the couple’s infertility issues before they welcomed their son Albert in 2021 and started the IVF procedure.
They soon discovered, though, that they had become pregnant naturally, and Albert had been born in October of the previous year.
“I was lucky enough to find someone who shines bright enough to lead me out of the dark, but I never imagined to be led to the brightest place imaginable, my baby,” Steph wrote online shortly after giving birth.
I had no idea how much joy having a child can bring. I want to thank @danny b miller for being the best support I could ask for and for teaching me what true happiness is.
More recently, Steph shared a photo from ITV’s Lorraine with the caption, “Go on,” in support of Danny’s return to Emmedale. Danny will be participating in the 50th anniversary.
When Danny participated in the reality competition I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year, where he was declared the winner, Steph helped him during his time in the Jungle.
Even as he drank at the Woolpack, Danny posted a brief video on Twitter announcing his comeback, writing: ” “Guess who’s back—back once more! The word is out that I returned to @emmerdale @EmmerdalePress to commemorate its 50th anniversary.”Yes, Aaron is back, Emmerdale retorted.
