Richard Fleeshman, a former Coronation Street actor, has announced his engagement.
On a romantic trip to Africa, he proposed to girlfriend Celinde Schoenmaker.

Richard posted on Instagram to share his joyful news.
“Went to Africa with my girl,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself and Celinde standing out against the setting sun.
“I’m taking my fiancée home with me. Could not be more pleased.
Later, Richard thanked everyone for their well wishes and shared their life-changing trip on Instagram Stories.

Who did Richard Fleeshman play on Coronation Street?
Richard, who is now 33, is best known to Coronation Street viewers for his role as Craig Harris, a teen goth.
From the age of 12 to the age of 16, he played the part and dated Rosie Webster.
In 2006, the couple was going to flee to Berlin together, but Rosie changed his mind, and Craig went alone.
Richard has concentrated on singing since leaving, touring with Elton John in 2008.
When he won Soapstar Superstar in 2006, he astounded the country.
In recent years, Richard has primarily performed on stage, most notably in the smash musical Ghost. In addition, he has made appearances in other television shows like The Sandman, Deep Heat, Call The Midwife, and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
He is the son of director and actor David Fleeshman and Sue Jenkins, a former Brookside and Corrie actress.
Celinde, a Dutch-born performer who has appeared in both Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables, is also active in the West End.
