In heartbreaking scenes from upcoming EastEnders episodes, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) prepares cards for her kids’ birthdays even though she might not be able to celebrate any of them for a while since she might be going to jail.
After learning of her court date, Linda confides in Mick (Danny Dyer) her worries that she might be sentenced to prison. Mick is encouraging and consoles her once more when she becomes distraught following a disagreement with Stuart (Ricky Champ).
Later, when Mick and Linda are present to see baby Annie’s first steps, they have a special bonding experience. Linda is experiencing a special and poignant moment, and when they are overcome with emotion, she and Mick almost kiss Up until Jada (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) enters the room, it is empty.
As Linda comes to terms with the possibility that her days as a free woman may be numbered, she decides she wants to make the most of them and offers a Carnival party at the Vic. Knowing that Linda wants to spend as much time as possible with her kids, Mick encourages Ollie (Harry Farr) to come over for a sleepover. This improves Linda’s day.
