In an episode of EastEnders, Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) is attacked while walking home from a club, highlighting the safety of women on the streets.
Frankie is encouraged by Mick (Danny Dyer), Lola (Danielle Harold), and Ben (Max Bowden) to speak with the police about what transpired as she struggles with her emotions in the wake of this.
When Jack (Scott Maslen) tells her that despite her bravery in coming forward, it’s doubtful that they’ll have enough information to be able to apprehend the person who harassed and cornered her, she is shocked.
Frankie becomes extremely sensitive to all the situations where women are made to feel vulnerable in public because of her entire experience. Frankie is enraged when she notices Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Denzel (Jaden Ladega) acting inappropriately toward Amy (Ellie Dadd).
To try to cheer her up, Lola takes her to Walford East, where they come under attack by some men until Ravi (Aaron Thiara) steps in. Lola becomes upset by this and talks about the haughty behavior of some men, which leads Frankie to believe that it is her responsibility to defend women.
When she apologizes to Amy for not intervening when Denzel and Nugget were harassing her, Jack becomes enraged on Amy’s behalf. She finds Amy and Jack in the cafe.
Frankie decides to formally reprimand Denzel and Nugget for their treatment of Amy after realizing she can do something about it while she is at work.
