In the most recent episode of the serial drama, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) altered camera video to make Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) appear to be a murderer, suggesting that he may not be the hero Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) believed him to be in EastEnders.
Ravi, we were all rooting for you!
As viewers are aware, the newbie saved Suki earlier this week after discovering his “dad” Ranveer’s (Anil Goutam) body in her house.
In an effort to catch Ranveer on video pressing Suki for sex in exchange for his business contract, Suki had been recording a heated confrontation with him.
When the truth was revealed, however, Ranveer reacted violently, grabbing Suki by the hair and dragging her back inside, where he then struck her.
In unsettling scenes, he held Suki down while getting on top of her and telling her that it’s “no wonder” her kids “hate” her. Suki struggled in his hold until she was able to seize a nearby clock, which she used to hit him in the head.
Suki was convinced she had murdered Ranveer as he dropped to the ground lifeless. Ravi arrived in the next moments and was frightened to discover his father laying on the ground.
In horrific events, Ranveer regained consciousness and yelled at his kid for helping Suki after promising to help her cover up the murder.
In retaliation, Ravi attacked his father, which ultimately resulted in his demise. He then snatched the camera and claimed to have “erased” the video, but suffice it to say that not everything is as it seems.
The character in the BBC One soap opera used a video editing program on his computer to clip the film, eliminating anything before Suki struck Ranveer, so there is no longer any evidence of his involvement in the crime.
Is Ravi merely trying to hide his tracks? Or does he intend to frame Suki or use the modified video as leverage to demand money from her?
Time will only tell!
