When Heather, 47, arrived as Stacey Slater’s wife in October 2021, she joined the cast of Eastenders as Eve Urwin (played by Lacey Turner).

When Stacey was demoted for falsely accusing her of pushing Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) down the stairs and causing a miscarriage, the two met there.

After past relationships with her daughter Ash, Eve just shared her first kiss with Suki, who is attempting to come to terms with her sexuality.

Heather, a Bradford native, has made previous appearances on other soap operas after making brief appearances in Emmerdale in 1997 and Coronation Street almost a decade later.

However, she is most remembered for her performances in the 2005 and 2006 film Ultimate Force with Ross Kemp and the 2012–2014 school drama Waterloo Road as Nikki Boston.

On the BBC series, Zoe Slater’s estranged mother Kat wanted to invite her to her wedding to Phil Mitchell, thus viewers were hoping for her reappearance.

Lily, Stacey’s daughter, saw Kat sobbing while carrying a wedding invitation for Zoe.

When Kat realised she hadn’t invited her daughter, Lily was seen doing something on her phone.
