Congratulations are in order for Ben Bhanvra and Louisa Lytton, stars of EastEnders, as they have recently tied the knot!
The June/July 2022 wedding was not what the Ruby Allen actress and her fiancé had in mind when they spent time there for the event.
The big day was delayed three times because of the pandemic, the coronavirus, and Louisa’s pregnancy.
During an interview on Loose Women last year, Louisa and Ben disclosed that they decided to put off their wedding due of the pandemic and the fact that Louisa was pregnant.
Yes, we’ve called off the wedding, she chuckled.
Basically, I told Ben, “Let’s start trying; it doesn’t seem like the wedding is happening.” After we were pregnant, our wedding was able to proceed legally.
But it’s too late; everything has already been thrown out. But it’s alright!
Most recently, the family’s flight to Italy was delayed due to a coronavirus infection, but they made it there in the end!
Louisa announced on her Instagram that the honeymoon had begun, indicating that the wedding had been a success. It’s 40 degrees outside and I’m just trying to manoeuvre a 10-month-old!”
The photos show Louisa flashing her engagement ring next to Ben, the couple’s infant daughter Aura, and the family savouring some Italian fare.
Ben and Louisa started dating in 2017, and they got engaged in 2019 while on vacation in the Maldives.
Louisa said earlier this year that she isn’t certain if she would return to EastEnders as Ruby Allen because her family is right now her top concern.
The actress told The Sun, “Yeah, I’m not sure right now; everything is kind of up in the air.”
I’m just not sure right now, so I can’t say for sure. That is my top priority now that I have a baby.
