Actors Max Bowden and Shona McGarty, who portray EastEnders’ Ben Mitchell and Whitney Dean, are rumoured to have shared a kiss at the Hollywood Bowl in Hertfordshire.
Onlookers reportedly witnessed EastEnders co-stars Max Bowden and Shona McGarty kissing while out bowling.
The two, who portray Ben Mitchell and Whitney Dean in the soap opera, are rumoured to be dating after becoming close on the Albert Square set after both of them ended their relationships.
At the Hollywood Bowl in Hertfordshire, an EastEnders super fan posed for a photo with the couple. The photo has since been taken down from Instagram.
In the picture, Shona, 30, is smiling while wearing an oversized cream shirt and tan pants.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Max poses casually in a navy shirt while giving the camera the thumbs up.
They were kissing and affectionate, not trying to hide the fact that they are a couple, according to a witness, The Sun says.
After Max was spotted leaving Shona’s house and holding hands with the actress at a kebab van, the two were first linked in May.
At the time, the acting team said they were “simply close pals.”
After Max and his expectant girlfriend split up, rumours started to circulate.
When Max was said to be starting a relationship with his co-star, Roisin was said to be left feeling “heartbroken” and “humiliated.”
The beauty reportedly broke down in tears after being “shocked” to learn about him and Shona.
“She never expected Max to move on so swiftly,” a source told The Sun.
With their newborn boy expected in August, the couple is reportedly still in communication.
While Shona, who started working on EastEnders in 2008, announced her separation from Ryan Harris in January, saying it was “amicable.”
However, the drama became too much for the performer as rumours of a connection between her and Max persisted.
Max recently disclosed he was taking a hiatus from Instagram, which worried followers.
He posted: “Taking a brief break from Instagram.” to his Stories. There is so much crap on this site, I need a break. I xo love ya.
