The leaving plot involving Sophie Dillman and Patrick O’Connor will run on Thursday.
After months of rumours, Patrick O’Connor (Dean Thompson) and Sophie Dillman (Ziggy Astoni) are scheduled to leave Home and Away on Thursday. Ziggy proposed that the two leave Summer Bay after Dean’s former Amber (Maddy Jevic) revealed that she was moving their son Jai (River Jarvis) to live in Queensland.
The episode guide for Seven teases that Ziggy and Dean’s farewell to Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir), Dean’s sister, will be heartbreaking, especially as the Salt owner is prepared to lose her current love interest Gabriel (Akos Armont) to cancer.
Having spent a lot of time together on set due to their respective storylines, Sophie and Emily have a special bond. On social media, the stars have been known to call each other “work spouses,” and Sophie tells Yahoo Lifestyle that she would “devastatingly” miss Emily.
Naturally, I shall miss everyone from the programme! Every day was work for the actors and crew, but it was also time spent with some of your greatest friends, according to the actress. Particular recognition goes to Em [Weir], whom I adore.
The actress wishes to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to all of the fans who have encouraged Sophie and Patrick’s on- and off-screen love.
“I am incredibly appreciative of everyone that helped Diggy and our narratives. I want to express my gratitude for having the best fans anyone could ask for.
Viewers are appreciative that the couple will be leaving the serial opera in a sombre manner by saying goodbye to their Summer Bay family and then leaving for Queensland. The door is always open for the beloved couple to return since their characters are still alive.
Since Sophie and Patrick have been so busy travelling, they are currently prioritising that as their next step. They want to travel in order to create “more memories” after spending so much time working under contract.
Sophie’s heartfelt admission: “I cried every day.”
After Sophie acknowledged that filming her final scenes for the serial opera was “very difficult,” she said this.
“I think I sobbed during the last month of work every day. She told Yahoo Lifestyle, “It’s such a vast family.
Although though she experienced a lot of emotion during her final days of production, she considers herself “fortunate” to have worked on the show for the past six years.
It was quite difficult. But it was also incredibly great because it gave you a chance to step back and appreciate all the good opportunities you’ve had.
The actress continues, “I’ve had such a tremendous run with storylines, publicity opportunities, and working with such incredible actors.
