On Tuesday, Home and Away actor Matt Evans surprised his fans by saying he’d finally caught Covid.

The 26-year-old actor, who was born in Western Australia, told his Instagram followers that he initially believed his symptoms to be hay fever and was shocked when his Covid test revealed a positive result.

Along with a picture of his great outcome, he penned some terrifying words: “Never had Covid before so I’m like, never going to get it.” It’s most definitely not hay fever in a minute.

Fortunately, Matt had the support of his 59,000 fans, all of whom quickly sent their best wishes for a rapid recovery.

Hope you don’t catch it too severe, commented one worried supporter, adding that he should “get plenty of rest.”

Another told the appealing actor to “drink lots of water.”

When Matt advanced to the Top 20 of Delta Goodrem’s team on The Voice Australia two years ago, he immediately gained notoriety.

The musician stated he doesn’t fall in love easy but that he is drawn to penning love songs earlier this year.

Since I haven’t had many girlfriends, it’s ironic that I do write a lot of love songs, he stated.

He continued, “I guess it just feels easy to voice my mind through music, although I sometimes struggle in real life.

Theo Poulos’ character, Matt, will have his music used on the show in subsequent moments.

It is really good to have two of the worlds come together, so it is extremely thrilling for me, he added.

It has been difficult to virtually give up music by focusing solely on acting for a long, but being able to do both is extremely pleasant.
