Away from Home Kawakawa Fox-Reo, a Nikau Parata actor, has revealed his spectacular new metamorphosis, switching from raven hair to bleach blonde hair.
Fans were stunned when Home and Away actor Kawakawa Fox-Reo revealed his new hairstyle.
The 24-year-old made his new look premiere while on vacation in Los Angeles. He is best known for playing Nikau Parata in the Channel 5 soap opera.
The actor, who is based in Sydney, changed his hair colour from raven to bleach blonde and looked very different from his character in a shirtless Instagram photo.
After he unveiled his new look, fans started to wonder how it may affect his character on the popular Australian soap, with many thinking that it might imply he had moved on from the part.
I don’t think (Home and Away) would re-dye his hair – most likely would write it in, one user said. Kawa undoubtedly bleached it since he realised he was no longer required to keep it black for work.
Damn, he’s a riddle that leaves us in the dark. I’m wondering if he’s moved on to greater things or is still, for instance, just travelling across the world. added another.
“Had to double take as this completely didn’t even look like you lol,” wrote another.
And it appears that their hypotheses were correct because Kawakawa’s official departure from the soap opera was announced at the end of the previous year.
The soap actor, who arrived in Summer Bay for the first time in 2019, reportedly shot his final scenes in October before departing Australia soon after.
According to 7Entertainment, he is now prepared to pursue new endeavours after establishing himself as a household brand as a result of his time spent in Summer Bay.
In a first for the popular show, Kawakawa spoke candidly about his enjoyment of his character’s portrayal of Mori culture back in the summer.
The actor was especially appreciative of the feedback he had received on social media regarding the plot’s cultural focus.
