Remi can’t stop worrying about Bree and won’t go to sleep until she’s located. Remi, however, is crippled after having surgery on his hand. Kirby’s heart is bleeding for Remi as she stands by his side.
In order to avoid ruining the wedding, Kirby first withholds Eden from learning about Remi’s hospitalisation.
In the meantime, Lyrik’s last-minute withdrawal owing to Remi’s hospitalisation derails Nikau’s plans for Tane’s wedding.
Eden feels cautious about Cash now that she has drunkenly confessed her love to him. Eden, though, is appreciative when he brings her to visit Remi after surgery. Cash longsly observes the two buddies’ tearful reunion.
Cash oversteps the bounds of their flimsy friendship when he tries to comfort a distraught Eden. Eden exhorts Cash to stop sending her conflicting messages. Cash is unable to express his actual emotions because of his crippling dread of heartbreak.
In another place, Dean comes up with a variety of justifications for skipping birthing class but Ziggy is having none of it. She needs Dean by her side when the baby is born. Dean, who is prepared to face his concerns, acknowledges that he has been dismissed from every class. Ziggy and Dean realise they are much outside of their comfort zones once they are in the class.
