Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), Dean Thompson’s pregnant girlfriend, slipped and tumbled down the stairs at Salt in the Home and Away episode, and Dean Thompson (played by Patrick O’Connor) worries the worst for her (1:45pm – see our TV Guide for listings)…
Fortunately, paramedic Xander Delaney (Luke Van Os) arrives quickly, and Ziggy is taken to Northern District Hospital right away.
Ziggy is upset and worried about her unborn child.
However, hospital doctor Bree Cameron (Juliet Godwin) takes control of the situation and soothes the anxious expectant mother.
Bree, however, quickly worries about Ziggy’s blood and bruises on her leg.
When questioned, Ziggy is unable to recall how the initial bruises appeared on her body.
Bree misinterprets the cues and begins to believe that Ziggy might be in danger from Dean as a frazzled Dean makes himself felt at the hospital!
Will Bree expose Dean to the police for a crime he didn’t commit because she is still traumatised by her own experience of domestic violence with her husband, Jacob?
A week from now is the charity golf tournament.
Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) and Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) are both concerned that Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) hasn’t yet secured a significant sponsor for the charity event.
Roo is sure she has the situation under control.
Will the phone, however, ring with a proposal from a potential sponsor in time to ensure the event is a HUGE success?
Xander is still unsure of his feelings toward Stacey Collingwood and their open relationship (Maleeka Gasbarri).
Especially after she asks Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox Reo), a nearby beach lifeguard, to join them for lunch.
Xander acknowledges that he finds it upsetting to watch Stacey flirt with Nikau in front of him.
Xander makes the decision to be more understanding about his relationship with Stacey after asking Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) for some relationship advise.
Will Xander’s new relationship eventually take off after a rocky beginning?
