On Home and Away, Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) is relieved to not have morning sickness (1:45pm – see our TV Guide for listings).
The pregnant mechanic can now concentrate on getting promoted to manager of Summer Bay Autos.
Ziggy is ready to start working when SHOCK stomach aches cause her to pass out.
Does her unborn child have a problem?
Following the arrival of paramedic Xander Delaney (Luke Van Os), who is there to assess the situation, Ziggy and her lover Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) both fear the worst.
Is there a significant issue going on?
When a client calls to say that Summer Bay Autos is closed, garage owner Justin Morgan (James Stewart) is not pleased.
Unaware of Ziggy’s hospital emergency, Justin makes an effort to appease his irate clients.
However, he can’t help but wonder: WHY Ziggy?
Will Ziggy be honest and reveal the truth about her pregnancy problems when an irate Justin visits the farmhouse looking for explanations?
In order to escape her remorse about what transpired with her spiteful long-lost daughter, Heather Fraser, Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) has gone to the city.
Marilyn has been located by family friends Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) and Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) in the homeless shelter for young people where she is currently volunteering.
In an effort to persuade Marilyn that she is not to blame for Heather’s conduct and will have enough of support from her friends and family in Summer Bay, Roo tries to reassure her.
But a resolute Marilyn declines Roo’s assistance.
Will Marilyn realise she belongs back in Summer Bay after hearing some harsh comments from a young female handbag thief who accused Marilyn of wanting to replace her daughter with pity projects?
