Home and Away has had yet another setback after being halted twice in the past two years owing to Covid. Theo Poulos on the show, played by Matt Evans, recently revealed that Covid has been caught.
He asked followers on Instagram if they had heard of hay fever before confessing that he had recently tested positive for the illness.
“Since I’ve never taken Covid before, I feel immune to it. He admitted to his admirers, “I was like, never going to get it. He remarked, “Jacqui’s had Covid, so I was like, I can’t get Covid,” as the camera panned to his co-star Jacqui Purvis (Felicity Newman), who was sitting on the couch.
She exclaimed, “Next minute!” before giggling as Matt displayed his two Covid test results that were positive.
Then it is unquestionably not hay fever, is it? No!” he said, before putting his hand over his face.
Along with coworkers on the soap opera, the cast members share a home. It’s probable that Jacqui also has the illness because the two weren’t kept apart in the video.
On social media, followers wished Matt well and sent advice for a quick recovery.
One supporter said, “Hope you don’t catch it too severe, get lots of rest, and drink fluids.”
“I am fortunate that I haven’t yet received it! Get well soon,” said a second.
“Oh s**t. Got it. It’s not at all to my taste. Drink enough water, not too much, but enough, said a third.
The Home and Away cast and crew are presently preparing for their yearly Christmas vacation, which will not begin until January. Given that there are numerous on-screen couplings and that production frequently requires the cast to get up close and personal, it is unknown how many actors may have been exposed to the virus.
Three days after joining his co-stars at Seven’s lavish Christmas party, the young actor shared his update on Monday afternoon.
Kirsty Marillier (Rose Delaney), Ethan Browne (Tane Parata), Adam Rowland (Remi Carter), and newcomer Kyle Shilling (Mali Hudson) were all present at the party even though Jacqui wasn’t.
