Spoilers for UK viewers of Home and Away are below.
Next week, Home and Away will return to the Heather saga to wrap up any loose ends as Marilyn and John talk about their hidden daughter.
Heather recently showed up in Summer Bay and started causing trouble while hatching various plans for revenge against her mother. She eventually kidnapped several people, nearly killed Alf by spiking his drink, and made Marilyn stand on a balcony. Additionally, she murdered her adoptive mother and stored her remains in a freezer.
Justin discovered Marilyn and Heather’s romance during the kidnapping drama, which aided him in putting the pieces of the puzzle together to avert disaster. But the plot never really had John respond to learning that he had a daughter (who has committed some pretty evil acts).
This will be covered in later episodes when John sees Marilyn to express his happiness that she is safe. He expresses regret that Heather felt she had to keep it a secret for so long, but he claims there is no ill will toward her.
Marilyn expresses her gratitude for all of his assistance, especially at the time when everyone else turned against her as a result of Heather’s falsehoods, but will she be able to move on from the trauma?
