Kassandra Clementi, a former cast member of Home and Away, has made an unexpected announcement. The actress recently made public the news that she and partner Dan McKernan are expecting their first child.
The couple poses with pet cow Mike while Kassandra tenderly cradles her growing baby tummy in a cute Instagram photo. The actress urged her followers to help Dan’s animal refuge in Michigan as part of the pregnancy announcement and charity appeal.
She captioned the picture, saying, “It’s #GivingTuesday and Mike’s forthcoming baby sister would adore it if you could help us continue to care for all her furry brothers and sisters here at Barn Sanctuary.”
The same news was posted on his page by her partner, who also revealed that the couple is expecting a girl in May.
Most people are familiar with Kassandra from her time from 2013 to 2016 playing Maddy Osborne in Summer Bay. Her fellow cast members from Home and Away were eager to wish the young couple happiness.
Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) wrote, “Huge congratulations to you all. “That cow appears to be asking you to watch her young. Hugs and lots of love.
Raechelle Banno, who portrayed Olivia Richards on the soap opera, wrote, “Love you x.”
Actress Alicia Banit, also from Australia, yelled, “YAYAYAYAYYYY A BUBBY GIRL TO JOIN THE GANG.”
The social media post was inundated with congrats from fans as well.

Following her departure from Home and Away, the celebrity moved to the United States to advance her career. She has acted in films for Hallmark and Lifetime, and most recently, she and Zoe Saldaa shared a guest spot in the Netflix series From Scratch.
Previously engaged to actress Jacqueline Toboni, Kassandra revealed in August 2022 that they had broken up “a while ago.”
