The former Home and Away star offered some “wonderful” words of advice while facing terminal brain cancer.
As he fights his terminal cancer diagnosis, singer and former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has shared some advice on how to live life to the fullest.
On a recent episode of the Kicpod podcast, which was hosted by fitness influencers Steph Claire Smith and Lauren Henshaw, the X Factor contestant discussed his life philosophy.
The 34-year-old claimed that not “sweating the small things” was the secret to a better life.
Love life, he advised.
Don’t worry about little matters, and make sure your final discussion with those you care about is a good one.
The next topic Ruffo addressed was his partner Tahnee Sims, who has supported him throughout his continuous cancer treatment.
I always tell Tahnee I love her every time Tahnee and I part ways, he stated.
“You know, I might experience a seizure or whatever, and I just want her to know that the last thing she told me was that I loved her,” he said.
Never end a conversation negatively.
Henshaw broke down in tears after Ruffo’s remarks, which the hosts attributed to his “wonderful outlook on life.”
And it appears that Ruffo is committed to living life to the fullest and doing so with the people and places he cherishes.
For Christmas, Ruffo and Sims travelled back to his native Western Australia where they visited Ruffo’s relatives and took advantage of Rottnest Island’s beaches.
Celebrities frequently visit Rottnest to take selfies with quokkas, but Ruffo only wanted to enjoy the warm weather and the crystal-clear waters.
Beautiful day in Perth, WA, according to @rottnestislandwa. Ruffo wrote a caption for it.
The images featured a happy selfie with Sims, Ruffo knee-deep in the sea, and some breathtaking landscape views.
The actor had time to celebrate his Home and Away co-star Lynne McGranger’s 70th birthday back in Sydney, where Ruffo and Sims are based.
Happy birthday to one of my dearest friends @lynnemcgranger you’re like a great wine,” Ruffo said in the caption of his photo, which had the two of them grinning broadly in front of balloons signifying the occasion.
Ruffo went to McGranger’s birthday celebration at the venerable Icebergs restaurant in Bondi.
McGranger added her own comment in response to her “bestie’s” post.
“Oh, my dear. I am ecstatic to see you and Tahnee, sweetie. We’ll soon catch up, she wrote.
As soon as the comments area was open, fans flocked to express their support.
One person commented, “I adored the on-screen chemistry these two had on Home and Away.
Someone else merely added, “Beautiful.”
“Lovely, keep going. Another person remarked to Ruffo, “You have so many people who love you.
