According to sources, Scott McGregor, a star of Neighbours, has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
The claimed event happened on Sunday, February 20, at 8 o’clock at Melbourne’s St Kilda’s Hotel Esplanade, also called the “Espy” by locals.
In 940 episodes of the soap between 2013 and 2020, Scott is best known for his portrayal of police detective Mark Brennan. According to MailOnline, Scott is scheduled to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court in January 2023.
Metro.co.uk has gotten in touch with Victoria Police and Scott’s agents for comment.
It follows the actor’s involvement in a club glass attack in 2019.
Following a heated argument, a strip club employee was convicted guilty of assault when she threw a glass at the other party.
Danielle “Ivy” Lee explained to the court at the time how Scott’s use of a string of “degrading names” had offended her.
She received an 18-month good behaviour bond and was mandated to cover Scott’s medical expenses.
Scott denied abusing Danielle verbally in the Gold Coast club. She flung the glass at him, causing a tiny cut that required three stitches.
At the trial, Danielle addressed the court and stated: “He said: “F* off you disgusting st. You are a complete jerk. With you being so filthy, I would never take you. I am better than that, he declared. I am superior to you. F*** off”.’
When Channel 5 cancelled Neighbours four months ago, many fans were disappointed to learn that Scott would not be appearing in the finale when it appeared he had not been invited.
Since then, Amazon has saved the programme, and fresh episodes of Freevee are currently being produced for a 2023 fall premiere.
