There will supposedly be some major news soon…
Tim Kano, who plays Leo Tanaka on the television drama Neighbours, teased that we will soon be learning more specifics about the show and that he might play the same character again when it is renewed later this year.
Kano went up about Neighbours’ future during Australia’s annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras celebrations in an interview with News.com.
His potential comeback as Leo was described as “very thrilling” but he was keeping quiet about it.
Many announcements regarding what is happening, the new cast, and the show’s future will be made next week. It is simply amazing.
Given that Kano has access to the announcement information and that the majority of the cast wasn’t even aware that Neighbours was getting renewed before it was revealed, it appears likely that Kano will be in the revival.
Kano said, “It was innovative and on the fore of Australian television in terms of inclusiveness, which is why it is so fantastic to be a part of in terms of diversity and sexuality.
The fact that it is returning is really important since it is iconic.
He is not the only actor to make hints about appearing in the revival.
While Ryan Moloney, a confirmed returning cast member, said there might be a time leap when Neighbours returns to our screens, Jodi Gordon confirmed that she has been in talks.
Because Takaya Honda has started getting other jobs, it will be intriguing to see if Kano’s on-screen brother, David Tanaka actor Takaya Honda, will be participating.
Next week, we anticipate everything will be revealed.
