The first plot summaries for Home and Away’s Australian return week have been released, and they promise lots of drama as Felicity and Eden rush toward disaster and a fresh arrival surprises a Summer Bay resident.
The 2022 season ended with Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) and Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) travelling to Felicity and Tane’s (Ethan Browne) wedding, which had been moved last-minutely to a distant farm.
They were travelling there in Felicity’s father’s old ute, which Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) and Justin (James Stewart) had spent the past two weeks painstakingly refurbishing as Cash’s wedding gift to his sister.
They were unaware that the night before the wedding, one of Tex’s (Lucas Lineham) gang members had tampered with the ute’s brakes.
Summer Bay appears to have forgotten that Cash had a price on his head after the Death Adders biker gang shot and killed their leader Marty (Ben Wood). It appears that Cash was the gang’s target when they sent one of their lackeys to tamper with the ute’s brakes because the initial plan was for Cash to drive his sister to her wedding.
In the season finale, which will be broadcast in Australia on January 9 at 7 p.m., Felicity and Eden will discover that they are powerless to stop the automobile as it careens through the back roads at a high rate of speed.
They are about to collide with Leah and Justin when Justin swerves to escape them, sending Leah and his car flying off the road, flipping, and through the air.
Flick and Justin eventually halt after smashing through a gas station’s barrier.
The return week’s advertisements depict Eden after the collision, unconscious and without a known outcome. The firemen are trying to get Felicity out of the car when the alarm is eventually raised, and Tane and Gary (Peter Phelps) arrive at the crash scene.
Flick is still trapped inside the ute when a spark ignites gasoline that is seeping from it, turning the tragic situation upside down.
We now have updated return-week synopses that offer us more information about what to anticipate.
