Alan Fletcher makes EastEnders cameo for touching tribute to Neighbours

Each soap opera debuted in 1985.

EastEnders, a BBC soap opera, has presented a touching tribute video to Neighbours in honour of its 37 years of broadcasting.

The beautiful movie began with none other than Alan Fletcher himself appearing in the Bridge Street cafe and requesting a cab!

The character Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was bemoaning the end of Neighbours while sitting in the cafe. She talked about how much she enjoyed catching up with them while they were all lounging in the sunshine.

Fletcher, who plays Karl Kennedy, enters the scene, leaving Linda speechless and requesting a selfie!

After that, the video featured heartfelt tributes from the EastEnders cast, beginning with Tameka Empson’s comment, “O-M-G. Neighbors, you’re going!”

Added Max Bowden: “I’m sorry to see you leaving, but I want to congratulate you on all of your accomplishments. We will sincerely miss you. I’m sending love your way.”

Added Balvinder Sopal: “Thank you for a wonderful 37 years, Neighbours cast and crew. You’ve kept us amused for a very long time.”

Natalie Cassidy said, “You’ve brought us joy for 37 years, and I’m just so sad that you’re leaving.”

Added Kim Medcalf “When I was younger, I would run home from school in anticipation of the upcoming episode. It was a lot of fun!”
