The new partner of EastEnders actress Jessie Wallace has spoken up about their connection. The long-running BBC soap opera star, who portrays Kat Slater, has been dating carpenter Justin Galleway for a year, but their romance was only recently made public after they were seen holding hands in his truck.
Jessie, 50, later revealed on Instagram that they had been friends for 34 years prior to starting a relationship. Our relationship is good, Justin, 50, told The Sun on Sunday. We are quite near.
Even a Jessie doll from Toy Story is kept by him in his truck. His remarks come after a trying period for Jessie in which she received a warning from EastEnders executives for her behaviour on a night out.
A conditional caution was given to the actress after she was detained “on suspicion of attacking a police officer/drunk and disorderly conduct.” After Justin got into a fight with the police outside a bar in Suffolk, she allegedly kneed one of the officers in the groyne.
Regarding the police encounter, Justin continued, “I have apologised, and so has Jessie.”
