When that happens, friendly neighbours turn into close friends.
It’s time to look for the ideal mixture once more.
After 37 years on television, Neighbours aired its sad farewell episode in July 2022, but since then, fans have had trouble finding their favourite episodes to rewatch online.
In the finale, former stars from the cast, including Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce, and Kylie Minogue, returned to say goodbye to the Australian soap opera.
The news that Neighbours is getting a comeback and that the classic episodes would soon be streamable on a new Amazon platform, Amazon Freevee, has been wonderful news for fans recently.

How to watch old episodes of Neighbours
Despite the long-running series’ devoted fan base in the UK, it is practically hard to see vintage Neighbours episodes online.
There may be one or two saved in your TV records, but there aren’t any services available right now that let users binge a whole re-watch from beginning to end.
However, everything is about to change. Thousands of episodes from the Neighbours archives will soon be available on Amazon thanks to this move.
The old episodes should be accessible on Amazon Freevee.
We may probably anticipate new episodes in 2023 even though there is no official date for when Amazon Freevee, which doesn’t have subscription options, fees, or advertisements, will release them.
Additionally, Amazon Freevee will be the only place in the US and the UK to have access to all new episodes.
“With the power of streaming, we’re able to offer a catalogue of thousands of Neighbours episodes for new audiences to discover this famous series and current fans to relive their favourite moments,” said Lauren Anderson, head of AVoD original content and programming at Amazon Studios.
All the information we have about the Neighbours revival
A petition to save Neighbours garnered over 70,000 signatures earlier this year, but a different network did not intervene to prevent Channel 5 from cancelling the programme.
In an unexpected change of events, it was revealed last week (17 November) that streaming juggernaut Amazon would not only salvage the show but also serve as the home for all future episodes.
Since the streaming service now owns the rights to the venerable TV show and all of its characters, settings, and plots, the resurrected programme will only be accessible on Amazon Freevee in the UK and the US.
Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson), Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy), Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy), and Ryan Moloney (Toadie Rebecchi) all rushed about Erinsborough in a teaser for the revival as they celebrated the wonderful news.
It is currently unknown who else will make a comeback to reprise their roles in the relaunch, outside these four characters.
