During her time on Coronation Street, Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) has committed crimes ranging from bullying to arson, causing quite a commotion.
However, if she follows in her father’s footsteps, things can get even more terrible. Literally.
As a book detailing his crimes is ready to be released, John Stape has returned to stalk Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and her family.
The family was first unaware of the publication’s author and began to speculate that Phill (Jamie Whittaker), who had recently been dumped by Fiz, might be responsible.
Young Hope sees a chance but Fiz and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) continue to be appalled by the idea of a book about the serial killer.
Having obtained a copy, she informs her classmates that she will be performing a reading from the book and signing copies for a donation of £1.
Later, she joins Sam (Jude Riordan) in the cafe and confides in him about how much her father and she are alike and how the book has made her realise this.
Will Hope begin to draw inspiration from her father’s crimes now that she appears to be proud of his book?
