Max Bowden and Shona McGarty, two EastEnders actors, appear to have confirmed their relationship with a photo posted on social media.
At the House and Classics Festival in Essex, the actors—who play Ben Mitchell and Whitney Dean, respectively—posed for a number of photos that Shona later posted on her Instagram page.
In one photo, Max was seen around her, and in a selfie, they were seen making kissing faces at the camera.
With the message, “Can’t wait for the next one xx,” Shona tweeted these images along with a number of others, including a video of her dancing with Max and their friends. @bowden5 @adhq kammy_ @bubblydamz
Max wrote: “Squad,” using the fire emoji, while his co-star James Farrar (Zack Hudson) added: “@bowden5” Complete rascal.
It was reported earlier this year that Max and Shona had “gotten close.” One source told Mail Online, “They spend as much time together as they can.” Max may usually be spotted entering or exiting Shona’s house in the evenings or mornings.
Anyone who sees them together can see how they feel for each other, despite their efforts to conceal their relationship and the fact that they arrive at the EastEnders set separately.
The pair was later captured on camera holding hands by The Sun.
Prior to their May pregnancy announcement, Roisin Buckle and Max were romantically involved.
On her podcast, One Mum and a Baby, Roisin said that she hadn’t heard from Max in “around six weeks” and that he had skipped the baby ultrasound.
But today, Max posted on Instagram, saying, “One day, I’ll respond to all that has been written over the past few months.” One day, not right now.
