In upcoming EastEnders episodes, danger is developing at the Queen Vic as rumours about a particular Jay Brown start to circulate (Jamie Borthwick).
Jay is quite hungover at the beginning of the week as he spends time with Lola (Danielle Harold) and Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis), which irritates lover Honey (Emma Barton).
Jay goes to Peggy’s that evening with Lola and Frankie and poses as Lola’s boyfriend to get a sketchy guy off her back.
Jay and Lola don’t realise Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) had seen them together as they leave.
Lola and Jay make light of the inebriated antics from the previous evening the next day.
As soon as the word “boyfriend” is said, Lexi overhears and later locates Will (Freddie Phillips), who reveals Jay is having an extramarital affair with Lola.
Will (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) finds Jada in a furious state, and soon after, rumours begin to circulate.
Later, Ash approaches Honey in the bar and confides in her that she believes Jay is having an affair with Lola.
Always one to defend Honey, When Billy (Perry Fenwick) enters, he strikes a bewildered Jay in the face.
But what does this mean for Jay and Honey’s relationship?
Has the line’s end been reached by them?
These scenes are running before Jay experiences an emotional plotline that will see him caring for a sick Lola, who will shortly be identified as having a brain tumour.
