Bree tried desperately to save Jacob, but Summer Bay police officer Rose Delaney and her paramedic brother Xander arrived on the scene and declared Jacob dead.
Rose immediately went to see Remi and told him that Bree had been discovered alive and was being examined at the hospital.
Bree was traumatised when Remi found her after running to visit her. Bree struggled to digest anything and begged Remi to leave right away, making it obvious that she wanted nothing further to do with him.
