This week in Home and Away, Tane Parata’s (Ethan Browne) relationship with the bikies comes to a head as he and Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) are successful in getting what they need to take out the bad guys’ gang.

As viewers are aware, when the bikies first arrived in Summer Bay, they completely turned Tane’s life upside down. The evil Tex Wheeler (Lucas Linehan) in particular proved to be a pain in Tane’s side.

In the meantime, Rose started dating the biker gang leader, but after learning the full scope of her man’s wrongdoing, she enlisted Tane’s help in a very special mission: eliminating Tex!

During the Channel 5 soap opera’s episode on Friday, September 9, Tane ended up at the bikie headquarters as part of his mission, wearing a wire and prepared to gather the intelligence required to vanquish his enemies.

Ethan Brown, who plays Tane, said of the scenes that follow, “Tane is nervous, but he knows it must be done to put an end to it all.”

He finds it challenging to get what he needs because Marty and Tex are cunning criminals, but he eventually succeeds in his mission as the two criminals go over the specifics of the money laundering scheme!

Rose, who is observing from a nearby van, is ecstatic to have the proof needed to catch the criminals.

Ethan admits that Tane is aware that there is still a ‘long way to go’ upon acquiring the information, and soon things take a horrifying turn, as Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) is shot amid the subsequent raid of bikie headquarters!

‘[Tane] is shocked [by the development] of course,’ said the star, ‘His immediate concern is for Felicity and how she’s going to cope with the news.’

Cash’s fate remains to be seen, and Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) will soon prove to be the least of Tane’s worries, as Ethan tells us that – despite Tane succeeding in his mission – there will be more upset to come.

‘Everybody in the Bay is in everyone else’s business all the time,’ said the actor. ‘It becomes hard for Tane and Nikau because they have to keep the secret going.’

The actor said, “Everyone in the Bay is constantly in everyone else’s business.” Because Tane and Nikau must maintain the secret, “it becomes difficult for them.”

Despite this, the soap star did promise something a little more ‘beautiful’ for his character to experience after the bikie storyline.

“Something lovely will emerge from these dark times!”

,’ he remarked, and take us as intrigued!
