We simply cannot wait to see!
Seven years after his tenure at Summer Bay came to an end, former Home and Away star Stephen Peacocke is poised to star in a brand-new criminal drama with the Nine Network.
Stephen stated to our sister newspaper WHO at the time of his departure from his role of five years (and Australia’s longest running serial) that he was looking to advance and develop in his acting profession rather than going back to previous parts.
“I left Home and Away at the ideal time for me,” I said. In any performance, you should leave when the audience is exclaiming, “This is really excellent,” rather than, “Oh my God, get rid of this person,” Steve admitted.
“My memories are quite sweet…”
It’s a good recollection, but you don’t necessarily want to repeat it. It’s like a fantastic vacation; you have to go on.
We have a feeling that this new acting role is perfectly up his alley.
Stephen will appear in the fast-moving crime drama Human Error opposite Leeanna Walsman (Wentworth, Safe Harbour), Rahel Romahn (Shantaram, Mr. Inbetween), Matt Day (Rake, Paper Giants), and Steve Bisley (Mystery Road Origin, Doctor Doctor).
The programme, which is based on actual events, will follow a skilled homicide team as they investigate a seemingly simple murder case.
But nothing is ever exactly as it appears.
Tensions rise as the case quickly turns into a massive criminal conspiracy. Our complex and colourful group of characters must overcome a series of errors before their lives and professions are permanently changed.
Inspector Dylan MacKenzie, played by Stephen, will be the main character.
Emily Joy (Fisk, The Housemate), Ethan Lwin (Young Rock, Joe vs. Varol), Debra Lawrance (Clickbait, Please Like Me), Daniela Farinacci (East West 101, Lantana), Jane Allsop (House Husbands, The Slap), and Anthony J Sharpe join the cast, adding to its already impressive roster (Joe vs Carol, Black Snow).
Although the show’s production has started, it will likely be some time before Human Error appears on our televisions.
However, it has been announced that the miniseries would consist of six episodes.
