On Emmerdale, Faith (Sally Dexter) is faced with the truth that she is dying, and she is desperate to continue living her life to the fullest. Among her top priorities is spending as much time as she can with her grandkids.
They won’t soon forget the day their grandmother gave them a chameleon, for one reason. After all, it doesn’t happen often. Kyle (Huey Quinn) and Sarah (Katie Hill) are shocked when Faith “liberates” the reptile from the veterinarian, but chaos quickly breaks out once the animal escapes.
Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) is more than a little taken aback when a chameleon joins him at the Woolpack bar (perhaps the feeling is mutual), and the little guy is quickly taken back to the vet’s. Al, not the chameleon.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter), who are concerned about Faith’s potentially harmful effects on the kids, are unimpressed by the entire ruse.
Faith begs them not to prevent her from spending more time with her grandkids and visiting them on her own, but Cain and Chas are determined.
Faith is heartbroken as she realizes that another aspect of her life has been snatched from her and she must soon face the scary possibility of losing control of her own life.
