Fans of Coronation Street have been given a sneak peek at what will happen the following week, and you can consider us very excited!
As Kelly Neelan’s (Millie Gibson) departure is set in motion, the ITV soap opera is preparing for what will undoubtedly be its biggest week of the year thus far.
As viewers are aware, Kelly has been residing with Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) following the disappearance of her father Rick (Greg Wood) and the passing of her mother.
However, the teen is about to learn something shocking as she realizes Gary was responsible for both her father’s death and the subsequent cover-up.
Greg Wood has returned to the role of Kelly for the scenes where she leaves the mainstay, as seen in the trailer up top.
Kelly, who is out for vengeance after being abducted several months prior, approaches Kieron and offers him £10,000 in exchange for killing Gary.
Kieron appears to accept her suggestion. Gary, on the other hand, speaks movingly about how much he and Maria have cherished having Kelly in their lives.
However, Kelly informs him that she is aware that he murdered her father before leaving. When Gary chases her, Kieron knocks him out and throws him into a van.
Gary is led to the spot where he killed Rick by Kieron and his sidekick, who then order him to dig his own grave while brandishing a gun.
Meanwhile, Kelly begins to recognize Kieron’s true colors as he reveals his plans to kill her and blame her for Gary’s death while escorting her to the roof of a defunct mill.
In an effort to protect Kelly, Gary manages to escape captivity and makes his way to the roof with Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) in tow. Unfortunately, gunfire breaks out, leaving all of our favorite characters’ futures literally up in the air.
Who will endure? All you have to do is watch to find out.
