Coronation Street spoilers: Stephen Reid targeted by thugs after Leo’s murder

Following Leo’s passing, resident bad guy Stephen Reid of Coronation Street will be embroiled in even more drama as he is targeted by thugs while out making deliveries on his bike.

The murderer Stephen Reid is targeted by some thugs, who also cause him to crash his bike, according to spoilers for Coronation Street.

Last week, Leo Thompkins (Joe First) was murdered by Stephen (Todd Boyce), horrifying Corrie viewers.

Now, after being attacked by a group of men, Stephen accepts a delivery job in an effort to make some much-needed money. Stephen is confronted by the group before he tries to take off quickly on his delivery bike but crashes it.

On location, Todd was seen shooting the tense scenes in which Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) stood by his side as they awaited an ambulance.

Will Stephen be okay or will he be punished?

Following Leo’s passing, Corrie viewers “worked out” Stephen’s fall following that.

After learning that Stephen had kissed his fiance Jenny Connor while she was intoxicated and that they had briefly broken up, Leo was determined to show Stephen is a liar before he was killed.

Leo made the decision to speak with the estate agent who had been hired to appraise Audrey Roberts’ home before listening in on Gabrielle’s conversation.

Leo confronted Stephen on the balcony behind the Underworld factory, telling him he had heard every word and was aware of his scheme to seize Audrey’s home’s equity in order to pay her back.

Leo made fun of Stephen as he followed him up onto the factory gantry and threatened to alert Audrey and the police.

Leo was pushed off the balcony and into an open trash can below by Stephen, who then lost his cool and attacked him. It was later determined that Leo was dead.

Stephen snuck in and stole Leo’s belongings and passport before burning them in a field as Jenny became worried about Leo’s whereabouts after discovering that they were still in the pub before their trip to Canada.

Viewers of the soap opera were quick to comment on the scenes, pointing out Stephen’s error that might spell the end for him and querying whether the Rovers Return has CCTV cameras.

“Errrm, sooo, there’s no cameras/CCTV or whatever in the pub?!? #Corrie,” one user tweeted.

A different account put: “I really hope someone was recording him leaving the pub or something. He’ll undoubtedly trip himself because he is disorganized.” One more follower commented: “I reasoned that the bar must have CCTV. even at the rear?”
