Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) decides being in a relationship with a Panesar comes with far too much stress in EastEnders – and dumps Kheerat (Jaz Deol).
After finally agreeing to a date, Stacey has briefly enjoyed sneaking around with Kheerat and spending time with him but began to wonder if he’s ashamed to be with her out in public.
One thing Kheerat is yet to tell Stacey is that his Uncle Ranveer and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) both think an arranged marriage – with someone other than Stacey – is a good idea.
Kheerat is also being quite secretive with Stacey and hasn’t revealed much about his past and the fact his father is soon to be released from prison following a murder charge.
Coming up, after a chat with Eve (Heather Peace), Stace convinces herself that Kheerat is ashamed of her after all.
She tests the theory by kissing him in the café, and when Kheerat spots Suki, he backs away and leaves Stacey devastated.
Furious, Stacey ends the relationship – but how will Kheerat react?
Surely, and please forgive us if this sounds mad, it’s just best if Kheerat is honest and tells Stacey why he’s not ready to go public with their relationship?
