After learning that the wedding gowns she borrowed from a bridal shop for Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) to look on were stolen from the back of her van, Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) is in shock. She tells Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) that it was a humorous practical joke, but she soon realises that it’s serious and she could be liable for $12,000 as a result.
Even worse, Felicity already chose her wedding dress, which is also one of the outfits that was taken. Eden approaches Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) and asks him for assistance in an off-the-record manner while he tries to come up with a solution. Eden doesn’t want to be with him, but she has no other option.
Cash advises that they search through new web listings to find potential sellers of the stolen products. Eden, meanwhile, is clearly lacking in patience as she impatiently browses the ads at Cash’s house. When she finally strikes it rich, Cash advises that she send a message professing to be interested.
As she eagerly waits for a response, he tries to calm her down, but it’s obvious that the sexual tension is still present as they sit side by side. Cash moves in for a kiss, but Felicity rudely interrupts them. She raises an eyebrow and wonders if she was right. However, Cash and Eden have broken up and won’t speak to her.
Later on, Eden is still awaiting an online response from the thief. Cash gives her a call and counsels her against sending another message too soon. As they flirt on the phone, it is obvious that the two still have chemistry. Have they reconnected as a result of their covert investigation?
