This week, as mysterious Heather Fraser joins Summer Bay, Home and Away launches a sizable new storyline on UK television.
The newest tutoring client of Roo Stewart is introduced as Heather, but there’s much more to this newcomer than meets the eye.

Heather’s first scenes
Heather makes her first appearance in Thursday night’s first-look episode on 5STAR (September 29), which is repeated in Channel 5’s usual daytime slot on Friday (September 30). (September 30).
Roo Stewart recently made the decision to start a one-on-one tutoring service in the Bay after experiencing weeks of lack of direction in her life. She made a good impression on her first student earlier this week, but things are going to get a little trickier with her second.
Heather, a recent arrival, asks Roo for assistance with creating a law school application.
When Roo mentions how demanding legal studies can be, Heather reveals that she has a personal motivation for wanting to become a lawyer.
Heather shares that she once had an affair with a married man while she was working as his housekeeper. She explains that after giving birth, the man and his wife adopted the child and severed their relationship with her.
As Heather explains to Roo that she now wants to assist other women who find themselves in comparable situations, Roo is moved.
But it becomes obvious that Marilyn hasn’t told Roo the real reason for why she arrived in the Bay when Heather spots her working at the Diner and stealthily takes a picture of her.
Who is Heather?
The long-lost daughter of Marilyn is Heather, as recently revealed in Australian television programs.
It turns out that the story Heather shared with Roo isn’t true, but is inspired by Marilyn’s own past situation.
In the 1990s, Marilyn was a housekeeper who had a relationship with her boss. She found out she was pregnant while they were dating.
The infant, Heather, was born in 1995, but Marilyn broke down when her lover and his wife pressed her to give the child up.
Future UK episodes will show Heather beginning to subtly torment the Summer Bay favorite now that she is fully aware that Marilyn is her mother.
For as long as she can, Marilyn ignores Heather’s repeated comments that Marilyn reminds her of someone.
What happens next?
The Heather story has been depicted on Australian television for the past few weeks, and viewers have already discovered that they shouldn’t put their trust in her.
After two worrying events, Marilyn is eventually forced to confront Heather in the upcoming weeks. Marilyn is made fun of by Heather, who leaves a baby picture and the question “Guess who?” on her doorstep.
Marilyn learns that the reference is to her own tragic past when Roo tells her friend about Heather’s purported backstory.
As she repeatedly tries to get Marilyn into trouble, Heather’s game-playing gets worse throughout the course of the narrative. Marilyn’s friends are concerned that she might have stopped taking her medication as a result of this.
