Amy Walsh, a beloved figure in EMMERDALE, has been showcasing the newest additions to her opulent nursery for baby Bonnie.
With her partner, fellow soap actor and ex-EastEnder Toby-Alexander Smith, Amy gave birth to her first child at the end of the previous year.
The Emmerdale actress revealed it had taken her 9 months to perfect her nursery after Bonnie was born and then shared a collection of pictures of the beautifully decorated room in her rental home.
The actress captioned the pictures, saying, “Our nursery is almost finished! Only 9 months have passed since we moved in! Decorating was challenging because we are currently renting while searching for our ideal home.
Amy mentioned that Sally Sheppard Walsh, her sister, had made a patchwork quilt by hand for Bonnie’s first nursery.
“My sister @salsheps gave us this gorgeous patchwork quilt she made. I decided it was too nice to be sicked on so thought I’d turn it into a wall hanging and I love it!!!,” the Tracy Metcalfe actress wrote.
Amy also revealed that it had taken the loving parents nine months to move little Bonnie into her own room and that she was “dreading” thinking about us.
“Tonight we’re going to try to put Bonnie in her own room (yes, it’s taken until now for us all to be ready,” she concluded in the lengthy Instagram caption.
“I’m dreading it, but I know that going forward, it’s best for us all. I hope we succeed!
Amy gave birth to Bonnie, her first child, over the holiday season, and announced the happy news on Instagram in a heartwarming new year’s photo.
On the set of the BBC One dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, Amy and Toby became fast friends.
The actor, who portrayed the BBC soap opera’s villain Gray Atkins, proposed to his girlfriend last month and announced the news on social media.

After her maternity leave, Amy, who portrays Tracy Metcalfe in the ITV soap opera, will return for the 50th anniversary special week.
She uploaded her own collection of pictures from the event. With the caption “Before. During. After,” Toby proposed.
The series of photos showed the couple dining in Ibiza as the sun set, and the final photo showed Amy holding the rock on her finger.
