The elegant outfit that television network Channel Seven lent to actress Georgie Parker to wear to the 2022 Logie Awards was returned “butchered,” and as a result, the clothes designer has agreed to receive compensation.

The Home and Away actor was given a stunning glittering suit by bridal store owner Cristina Tridente to wear to the ceremony in June, but it was later modified without her consent.

Tridente stated that she was not given the clothing back as promised and that she had to follow up with the appropriate people on social media before she received a response.

She told The Daily Telegraph, “The stylist took it to a tailor and modified the design of the suit without my permission.”

The pants as a whole were mutilated to alter the shape, she continued, so it wasn’t a fitting issue.

She shared pictures of the ruined outfit on social media, emphasising how the pants had had 28 cm removed so that Parker could fit into them precisely.

Tridente attempted to contact the stylist, Pip Cook of Reload Agency, to talk about the circumstance but claimed she was ignored on Instagram.

Reload Agency chose not to respond to a question about it.

When Tridente asked several other business owners for help, they suggested she go public with her experience.

Channel Seven quickly agreed to pay her for the damages after she complained about her condition to the media.

In a statement, Tridente said: “Happily to say the suit has been returned, and the expenses have been settled by Channel 7.”

Channel Seven was contacted by Daily Mail Australia for comment.
