In Coronation Street, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) may be about to incorrectly assume Max Turner (Paddy Bever) is to blame for sending Maria Connor (Samia Longchamon) hateful messages regarding her refugee rehoming initiative.
In the near future, Max will interview his Iraqi friend Daryan for a school project on displacement.
Additionally, David and Shona (Julia Goulding) learn from Mrs. Crawshaw that Max is unable to return to Weatherfield High at this time because they are out of options.
Max is informed that Daryan will soon start at the same school and believes the newcomer took his place after hearing the news.
The following day, Maria begins to receive unsettling messages in response to an online article. She shows David and Shona one of these messages, which reveals her workplace.
When David gets home, he questions Max’s behavior because the latter won’t let him use the computer.
David confronts Max because he thinks his son might be behind the trolling, but Max flatly denies it.
As the week comes to an end, Max ignores David entirely after being questioned by the police, and they later argue about David’s lack of faith.
After the police search through Max’s laptop, they call David and reveal they will soon head over for a chat, but what have they found?
Is Max innocent?
