Tonight (November 7), Fiz Stape of Coronation Street is inconsolable as her lover Tyrone Dobbs exacerbates the John book dilemma.

The news that a book about Fiz’s late husband John, a serial killer, is being published has shocked Fiz and her family.

Fiz is especially worried about references to her little daughter Hope in the real crime film since this could make Hope the target of bullying at school.

In the episode airing on Monday, Fiz and her attorney Adam Barlow meet with the book’s publisher.

Fiz cries out to the publisher, pleading with her to take out all mention to Hope from the work.

She thinks she might be getting somewhere in her argument as Fiz highlights how detrimental this could be to Hope in the long run.

Later, though, when Tyrone learns that a public Q&A session is being arranged at a nearby hotel to promote the book, things start to go wrong.

Tyrone arrives there and is startled to hear the author imply that Fiz was complicit in the crimes committed by her late husband.

Tyrone hits the journalist across the face after becoming enraged, and audience members are taping the entire incident.

Fiz is terrified when the video goes viral, and the publisher chooses to release the book earlier than planned to capitalise on the attention. Tyrone’s hasty actions appear to have eliminated any chance of discussion on the product’s contents.

Fiz’s on-screen voice Jennie McAlpine recently outlined: “Fiz doesn’t know why Tyrone did this. She believes it has significantly worsened the issue.

“Fiz even remarks, “I wanted to punch the journalist but I didn’t because it would have made matters worse and now you have,” as he and Tyrone try to come up with a solution. Fiz believes that the situation has gotten worse.”

When asked if this might jeopardise Fiz and Tyrone’s newly established family life, Jennie responded: “Yes, that is how it appears, doesn’t it? It occurs each time Fiz and Tyrone’s troubled past is mentioned. Furthermore, John Stape must always be a part of their life in some strange way because he is not just Fiz’s past but also Hope’s father.

Every time John Stape is brought up, Fiz and Tyrone experience negative outcomes.
