As Stuart’s (Ricky Champ) mental health deteriorates in upcoming episodes, he makes increasingly desperate decisions, with several people caught in the crossfire.
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is one of these, and she notices Stuart outside his NA/AA meeting. Stuart has ripped up his doctor’s prescription for antidepressants, and when Linda sees him, he’s approaching a drug dealer.
She decides to intervene to prevent him from making a mistake he might regret, but Stuart isn’t ready to listen to her advice, and the encounter quickly devolves into a heated argument.
Despite Linda’s warnings, Stuart purchases the drugs, but later regrets it and hands them over to Jada (Kelsey Calladine-Smith).
He goes to apologize to Linda for his earlier behavior, but he is met by Mick (Danny Dyer), who is upset that Stuart was aggressive towards Linda.
When Linda returns to the Vic, still shaken from her argument with Stuart, Mick is there to console her, much to Janine’s chagrin (Charlie Brooks).
