EMMERDALE’S Aaron Dingle is set to return to the village this autumn, according to YZEE.UK, and his return could be motivated by vengeance.
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) left the ITV soap Emmerdale last year, leaving fans heartbroken. He tragically fled the village, but the door was left open for him to return in the future. Aaron will return in October, according to the producers, but will his return be linked to his mother Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter) affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman)?
Aaron was at the center of some difficult storylines during his 13 years on Emmerdale, from discovering his father had sexually abused him to struggling to accept his sexuality.
He left the soap after his boyfriend Ben Tucker’s (Simon Lennon) murder, which he mistook for the work of his younger sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele).
He shared an emotional farewell with his mother, Chas, as well as his uncle, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
He informed his family that he was relocating to Cornwall, as he had planned to do with Ben before he was murdered by Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).
At a recent press conference, Emmerdale producer Jane Hudson revealed to Express.co.uk and other media which characters will return for the anniversary month in October.
“We have Diane [Sugden], we have Tracy [Metcalfe] who is returning with some news of her own, and how is Nate [Robinson] going to respond to that?” Jane said.
“Of course, Aaron [Dingle] is back; will he discover his mother is cheating on Paddy [Kirk]?”
“Will he realize Sandra [Flaherty] isn’t all about Liv [Flaherty]?”
Aaron regards Chas’ husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) as a father figure and welcomed him into the family two years ago when they married.
If he found out his mother was cheating on Paddy with Al, he would be devastated.
Chas and Al will “feature heavily” in the soap’s 50th anniversary month, according to producer Jane.
Will Aaron return to the soap after discovering his mother’s betrayal of fan favorite Paddy?
Will Aaron confront her about the affair and listen to her side of the story, or will he see red and want to punish her for wronging Paddy?
The mechanic has had a difficult few years and has serious trust issues; could he snap and murder his mother in a chilling revenge twist?
During the press event, Jane also stated, “It’s Emmerdale, so there’s always a murderer around the corner.”
Is Aaron the murderer who will flee to Cornwall to avoid capture by the police?
At the press event, Cain actor Jeff Hordley also discussed his sister Chas’ affair with his adversary Al.
He elaborated: “I believe Al and Cain have been circling each other for quite some time, and it is most likely due to Covid.
“But I can’t approach him because of Covid, which was the sensible thing to do, but if he finds out, this will lead to something bad.
“I believe there may be fireworks, but not the kind seen in November.”
