In the upcoming episode of Home and Away in the UK, Justin and Leah become the victims of a shocking break-in, and Leah believes she knows who did it!
Next week, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) will become the target of Heather Frazer’s (Sofia Nolan) attention as her innocent façade begins to fall apart.
Marilyn (Emily Symons) has only confided in Leah about Heather, the long-lost daughter she gave up more than 27 years ago.
Since Heather’s arrival in Summer Bay, Marilyn has been the victim of Heather’s games, but Marilyn now thinks Heather has grown to forgive her and wants to get to know her daughter. Little does she realise that Heather is still deceiving her and trying to turn all of her pals against her.
John (Shane Withington) had previously expressed his misgivings about Heather and informed her that he thought she was responsible for the cruel note delivered to Jett, the son of John and Marilyn (Will McDonald).
Later on that day, John discovered that his car’s tyres had been cut. He was ready to blame Heather, but when she claimed to have been with Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) at the time, he was taken aback.
Naturally, attention turned to Marilyn, who had been upset with John for being harsh with Heather. Even John began to wonder if Marilyn had actually done it.
The following week, with Marilyn’s loved ones still worried about her alleged conduct, John visits Marilyn on the beach to apologise for the charge.
John assures Marilyn that he knows she’d never do something like that and is committed to help make things right when she expresses how much it affected her.
Marilyn acknowledges the irony that her ex-husband is supporting her more than her closest friends and expresses her gratitude for having someone else on her side.
When Rose (Kirsty Marillier) asks Heather to confirm her whereabouts, Nik lies and says that Heather was with him the entire afternoon, prompting John to decide that it is time to call the police. Despite Heather appearing to be in the clear, Roo (Georgie Parker) points out that Maz, who overheard the words, does not have a nice situation.
Marilyn is shocked when Heather admits that she was definitely in charge of John’s tyres when Marilyn later questions her about them. She continues by saying that she was hoped John would stop asking so many questions because it was making it hard for her to maintain Marilyn’s identity a secret.
Marilyn then goes to the diner and admits to the crime herself, thinking that she doesn’t have much to lose since the majority of her friends are already suspicious and hoping that the sacrifice will make her feel closer to Heather.
John doesn’t believe Marilyn’s explanation for a moment, which becomes clear when he puts her to the test by asking just how many tyres were cut, but Marilyn chooses to leave rather than provide any other information. Marilyn subsequently states that she had stopped taking her medication as her pals try to figure out the cause of her behaviour.
When Leah eventually learns about the most recent developments, she confronts Marilyn, forcing her to acknowledge that she is Heather’s spokesman.
Marilyn is confident that what she did was the right thing, but Leah worries about what else Heather might be capable of and decides to face her.
Leah explains to Heather that she is aware of the truth about who she truly is and that it is time for her to stop controlling Marilyn immediately.
Heather asks Leah how she intends to stop her rather than having her deny it. Leah, however, is unfazed by Heather’s threats and makes a commitment to call the authorities in the event that Heather harms Marilyn in any way.
But Heather doesn’t feel threatened either. That evening, when Leah gets home, she discovers that the house has been completely destroyed!
On Leah’s instruction, Justin (James Stewart) and Theo (Matt Evans) race home, but they’re perplexed to see that nothing seems to be gone.
As Rose asks Leah if someone would be angry with her, Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) hints that it might be a personal grudge rather than just youngsters getting into mischief.
Rose and Cash both start to wonder about the newcomer to town whose name keeps coming up after Leah mentions Heather.
Leah is subsequently compelled to confess to Justin that Heather is Marilyn’s daughter after realising that she owes him an explanation for her misgivings. After threatening Justin, Leah thinks that this is a sign for her to back off.
The following day, when Leah comes to Heather’s vehicle in defiance of intimidation, she discovers Rose there and an empty van!
Has Heather been scared off by Leah?
