The cancellation of EMMERDALE, Coronation Street, and EastEnders last week followed the announcement of the Queen’s passing. Here is all the schedule information you require for this week.
On Monday, viewers of EastEnders and Coronation Street will be able to get their fix of soap operas as scheduled, but Emmerdale fans will be left unsatisfied. On Friday, EastEnders was moved to BBC Two, and both ITV soap operas were taken off the air. However, this week will gradually see a return to the regular soap opera schedule.
MONDAY
The weekly double-bill episode of Emmerdale, which was canceled on Thursday and Friday last week, instead aired on Sunday.
However, Emmerdale won’t air on Monday after the hour-long special.
At 6 o’clock, regional news will start, and at 6.30 o’clock, ITV Evening News will be extended.
Coronation Street will continue to air at its regular time of 8 p.m.
This episode was supposed to air last Friday, but it was postponed to allow for coverage of the Queen’s passing.
EastEnders will air on BBC One at a slightly later time of 8.30pm.
From 7:10 to 8:10 p.m., live coverage of the Queen’s vigil will be broadcast from St. Giles’ Cathedral.
The Queen is discussed in more detail in a special episode of The One Show that follows.
TUESDAY
A one-hour episode of Emmerdale will air on Tuesday.
The ITV soap opera, however, will air at a later time of 8.05pm.
ITV Evening News comes before it, and Charles, The Monarch, and the Man comes after it.
In addition to continuing to air as usual, the BBC soap will also be broadcast at a later time.
EastEnders will air at 9.30 p.m. instead of its usual time of 7.30 p.m. conflict with Emmerdale.
From 6.45 p.m. to 9 p.m., The Eve Of The Procession To Lying-In-State takes the place of the soap.
The One Show bridges the time between the soap opera and the coverage of the Queen’s passing.
On Wednesday, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and EastEnders are anticipated to resume their regular schedules.
Once ITV and the BBC have approved the soap opera schedule, it will be updated on this page.
King Charles III and other senior royals will be following the Queen’s coffin as it is carried along Edinburgh’s Royal Mile on Monday.
It will be transported from Holyrood Palace to St. Giles’ Cathedral, where a memorial service will be held.
At 8.30 p.m., EastEnders airs on BBC One. At 8 o’clock, ITV airs Coronation Street. Tuesday at 8:05 p.m. on ITV, Emmerdale resumes.
